Join the Chamber SWLA and business leaders from our area at the 2025 SWLA Day at the Capitol Tuesday May 13, 2025.  Have a chance to visit one-on-one with legislators.  We will hear updates from our local delegation about what's happening this session, and hear from our state officials on legislative issues.

6:45AM                Meet at SEED Center to load bus 4310 Ryan Street, Visitor Parking Area
7:00AM                Depart for State Capitol
 9:15AM               Arrive at Capitol-702 River Road North, Baton Rouge LA
                                      Committee Meetings, tour Capitol, (on your own)
11:00AM              Board Bus at 702 River Road North to travel to Old State Capitol -100 North Boulevard
11:30AM              Lunch Old State Capitol 2nd Floor-Governor Opening Remarks (Tentative)
1:30PM                Group Pic-Rotunda
1:45PM                Ghost of the Old State Capitol Film
2:00 PM               Board bus back to State Capitol
2:30PM                Chamber Introduction and Visits on House Floor
2:45PM                Chamber Introduction and Visits on Senate Floor
3:15PM                Board bus 701 River Road North
3:30PM                Depart Capitol for Lake Charles
5:30PM                Bus arrives at SEED Center
