Join the SWLA Alliance and business leaders from our area at the 2026 SWLA Day at the Capitol Tuesday May 12, 2026.  We will hear updates from our local delegation about what's happening this session, and hear from our state officials on legislative issues.

6:45AM                Meet at SEED Center to load bus 4310 Ryan Street, Visitor Parking Area
7:00AM                Depart for State Capitol
 9:15AM               Arrive at Capitol-702 River Road North, Baton Rouge LA
                                      Committee Meetings, tour Capitol, (on your own)
11:00AM              Board Bus at 702 River Road North to travel to Old State Capitol -100 North Boulevard
11:30AM              Lunch Old State Capitol 2nd Floor-Governor Opening Remarks (Tentative)
1:30PM                Group Pic-Rotunda
1:45PM                Ghost of the Old State Capitol Film
2:00 PM               Board bus back to State Capitol
2:30PM                Chamber Introduction and Visits on House Floor
2:45PM                Chamber Introduction and Visits on Senate Floor
3:15PM                Board bus 701 River Road North
3:30PM                Depart Capitol for Lake Charles
5:30PM                Bus arrives at SEED Center
